This Tuesday morning .. permit me to talk about friends (friend). These people are a gift from God, a support system, an inspiration, a motivation and all the crazy benefits. But what happens when you can't tell the difference from a friend and a friendly foe? A friendly foe is that friend who calls you up to check on you and know what you have been up to, not because they care but just to find the flaws or twist your progress in the most disdain way possible to make you look bad. A friendly foe is that person who sees your posts or actions and tell the next person things to discredit you and make you come across as a folly. A friendly foe is that friend who pretends to be happy with you or have your back when all the closeness is aimed at discovering loopholes just to use it against you, not directly but behind you cuz they still want you to see them as good. A friendly foe is that friend that will call other friends of yours to ask questions or twist stories to make you look terrible. Most of us who have such friends know.. we hear the things they say, we see beneath their plastic smiles and rehersed expression of happiness but we ignore because the more foolish the actor the more terrible they fall. Sadly such friends don't grow, because they invest a lot of time and energy in making others look bad while living a very big lie just to make people see perfection. Interestingly, everyone knows and see through these people but like I said earlier.. everyone ignores and allow them fool around.
So if you have a friend who has been with you through everything.. appreciate that friend today because the most difficult thing to find is someone who has your back 100% but like the cow with no tail, nature has a way of helping him get rid of the flies.
