Arrogant know-it-alls stir up discord, but wise men and women listen to each other's counsel. Proverbs 13:10 MSG
Insisting on your own right or justifying that your own opinion is right will never ends the strife. Rather, it only escalates and deepens the quarrel or at best reveals your pride. But when you voluntarily relinquish your rights to be forfeited and painstakingly give up your own opinion to listen to the other person no matter how foolish he/she sounds may help resolve the issue and make reconciliation a possibility.
Remember, "the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind, able to teach, not resentful." (2 Timothy 2:24). Both the presence and the blessings of God are released without measure only in the atmosphere of unity, peace and brotherhood. May the Lord clothe you with humility and make you a peacemaker who always sow in peace and reap harvest of righteousness. Good morning.
