You are so right @kaylinart. I did the whole academia thing for years. It's only very recently that I've realised that the vast majority of what is "taught" early on is useless. I now think that children should be taught things like organisational skills, real finance like taxes, getting close to nature and appreciating our planet for everything it provides us. Of course all this is very unlikely whilst governments have a say in school curriculums. Hopefully more young people will turn to places like Steemit and get a real education! Thank you for sharing!
