The lost key - a short allegory about searching on the wrong place

in #life6 years ago

A man crawls on the street in front of his house on the floor in the middle of the night.
The street lantern just illuminates the area that he is apparently scanning. Another man comes in and asks him "What are you doing, good friend".
"Oh I've lost my front door key and I am looking for it."
"Just let me help you find it, good friend".
"No I don't think that makes sense, thank you."
"But why not, good friend?"
"See, I didn't lose the key here, but somewhere back there in the bushes."
"But why are you looking here at this point?"
"Quite simple, the lighting is better here"

We have a lot of problems in our lifes (with other people). Most of theese problems have the root cause in our behavior.
We have learned and trained the way of problem solution with the beginning of our lifes.
All of us are in the need to get love, help, protection, recognition,...
When we were babies we started to learn how to get it.
This is a kind of hard coded software in our brains.
But it's subconsciously. We don't have direct access to this "software". We only see the results in our daily life.
We often ask: "Why does it always happen to me?"
If we try to find the fault with ourselves, we usually take the easy way. We do research there where the light is, but not where the key is.
To go into the dark side of our life is a very hard way.
Usually we need the help of others and prayers to go there.
But the way is worthwhile.
If you find the key, you can get rid of a heavy load from your soul.
The first step to find the key is that you need it.
The second step is that you go to a friend or professional and ask him/her for help.

Indeed we all need to push towards our darkness to truly understand it!

Many people have lost the keys of their lives therefore they have ended up losing control of what belongs to them. Yes! Seeking help from others and their prayers is a nice thing to do but i would rather people to be careful and take personal responsibility of that key in order to keep themselves away from any disturbances/disruptions that may arise out of the loss of the key.

The first step to find the key is that you need it.

Great solution there that is just in case another mistake happens.
