The world changed in the last three decades much more than we could have imagined. We are close to see a new financial system, robots who take our ordinary jobs and even human colonies established on other planets. Or maybe I am just too much of a dreamer.

Until that happens we are still living the current financial system, current stressful jobs full of extra hours and unbeatable deadlines transforming us into robots working projects. There might be exceptions though, but overall not too many of us enjoy this rat race that we are currently trapped in.

Yesterday I met with a friend of mine who lives in Brussels, Belgium for about 5 years that I haven't met in years. She works at the European Parliament in a HR department. At the first glance what would you want more? A multicultural European capital to live in, work dedicated to the European Parliament and almost 40 days of vacation a year.

Unexpected she was also not satisfied at all by the modern full of stress way of life searching for a Matrix backdoor. She's not the only person that I met stating that we are living a mad world with no purpose whatsoever. At the same time she was very trilled discussing about cryptocurrencies and I was very excited to recommend her Steemit.

Apparently at the European Parliament she didn't heard about it, but promised to make herself an account and jump in the ocean. At the same time she was very determined to work something that she was passionate about, something that defines her as an individual and not just a job that's no more than an income provider.

More and more people I hear that wish to go on their own. To start their own business or to become entrepreneurs that don't have to answer to tens of bosses or comply to all sort of terms and conditions that don't care that much about the human side anymore. It's like we are starting to be more quality oriented than quantity. Quality in everything, not just office suits and other badges.

Life on Earth with all the technology and possibilities that we have should be fun and free for everyone. We are not born to go to work everyday, pay rent and bills, retire and just die. Even some animals live better than many of us and we consider ourselves the "smart" specie around here.

There is though a light at the end of the tunnel and backdoor to exit the Matrix. Some of us have already found it by starting trading and investing in cryptocurrencies for years now making a living with that while others are actually taking part at the blockchain system by mining these coins or building platforms on it. They are the early adopters who saw the light when it was just a dot.

Not to forget Steemit that is a good income for skilled steemians and that's just the beginning. I am sure that new platforms and apps rewarding us with crypto coins will emerge like mushrooms after rain in the near future changing the way we make a living. For the ones opened to embrace them and the new way of life that's just around the corner this might be a a door opened.

For that to happen we need to have faith in the new and the wish to leave the old behind. Going on two roads at the same time is not possible. At one point on the course they will split.
