No Man's Land

Politics is probably one of the most talked-about subjects in the world, right up there with sports and relationships. And while I occasionally engage in politics-related discussions, I see politicians as nothing more than actors rather than “employees of the state.” Yet, some people take these fuckers at their word.

One of those people is my father. He’s been waiting for a drastic change in politics and governance in our country for over 35 years. Every time I try explaining to him that the ones in charge aren’t actually the ones in charge, we end up in a heated argument. Most of the time, it doesn’t take long before one of us hangs up—that’s the usual ending.

A lot of people are cheering for Trump’s election and his executive orders over the past two days, but I’m not one of them. To me, Trump is just an actor. Honestly, his entire life has been one long performance. Sure, he’s charismatic, but beyond that? He’s just another player in the game.

Now, you’re probably convinced by this point that I’m a conspiracy-theorist lunatic. But my take is that whoever created the Federal Reserve, the FBI, the CIA, and even NASA—those are the people actually in charge.

What Trump is doing now with all these pardons and executive orders is nothing more than a show to keep the masses entertained. The elites put Biden in office for four years to test people’s patience and reasoning, and now they’ve rolled out the “fix” in the form of Donald Trump.

If Trump really wanted to make these changes, he could have done so during his first term. Back then, though, he was against crypto. He didn’t feel the need to free Ross Ulbricht or do any of the other stunts he’s pulling now.

It’s the same situation in my country, and that’s what my father doesn’t understand. He still believes politicians have real power. For me, the global response to the pandemic was all the proof I needed that 99% of politicians are puppets.

EU politicians serve U.S. interests, Romania is the EU’s lackey, and American politics are dictated by the ultra-rich families nobody talks about on TV. Decades of watching TV have brainwashed entire nations, and now people are incapable of seeing beyond the programming.

Don’t you find it funny that Trump suddenly became crypto-friendly right after BlackRock got into crypto with the BTC ETFs? And these ETFs? Approved just after BlackRock filed for their own. Now Larry Fink is urging the SEC to take a stance on tokenized treasuries and bonds, basically asking for the tokenization of everything.

And you’re telling me politics matter? Sure, they matter—to people caught up in herd mentality. But I can’t see myself getting sucked into that nonsense. It’s strange to see crypto OGs begging for regulations like they’d beg for air underwater.

The more regulations there are, the less freedom we have—it’s that simple. My father has a quote I actually like: “Most of the freedoms we had disappeared the day wearing a seatbelt became mandatory, and not abiding by it became punishable.” Once a government enforces “protecting your body by force,” it’s clear they’re claiming ownership over it.

Just my two cents.

Thanks for your attention,
