Here's a sneak preview of what we're talking about this month in de/Central
In this second issue of de/Central we’re adding two new sections; Security and Miner’s Corner. We’ve realized these are often overlooked aspects of the crypto world by those who are fairly new and should be included in a well rounded education of all things decentralized.
Security is one of the reasons more people don’t get into crypto. We’ve all seen the horror stories that media pushes about hackers stealing all of your coins. The simple truth is that cryptocurrency is no more susceptible to hacking than your bank account credentials. It’s not easier to get your crypto and often it’s harder. Staying safe online should be something all of us are staying abreast of no matter if we invest in crypto or not. We’re going to be diving into some best practices that anyone can use.
Mining is another huge part of the crypto space and most people don’t even know what it is. They don’t know that it’s the reason many tokens are decentralized. We are going to strive to explain exactly what mining is and how you can benefit from it There is a lot of technical specifics to much of mining but user friendly tools and apps are being developed all the time to help the average person begin . We’re not only going to explain things but we’ll share tutorials and downloadable resources with our subscribers where they can set up their hardware to make the most out of proof of work tokens.
As always we welcome all feedback. We want to learn how to best serve our readers. The decentralized world is evolving rapidly and we plan on evolving along with it to best inform you. Cheers to your success
