I think the biggest issue is not the Government trying to legislate marriage, but that people want their 15 minutes of fame. Combine that with how "open" the internet is for sharing socially, and you have a recipe for a media frenzy.

I'm personally not sure how much of their story is legitimate, but if it is then why tell the media/DJ about it in the first place?

They want to be seen and claim their spotlight for a few minutes.

If they were truly wanting to make a difference, they'd push for real change, not serialize their relationships.
