OFFICIAL LETTER TO THE STEEMIT INC CEO, @NED

Dear @ned

Its a pleasure writing to you for making a gaingantic move in creating a wonderful platform which gives everyone all over the world an opportunity to make merry.

Though I just became a member of this honorable platform this year of which it has enlightened me more every day by day reading a lot of posts from different great writers. Its called that there are things which I think (just suggestion) should be address. Though most people might be comfortable with it but a lot of people still not find it ok especially for beginners and besides no one is above mistake.

From my understanding, Steemit a platform for only blogging and as a company or organisation everyone strived to be the best. And that makes an organisation different from its competitors. Contact support is one of the key. A lot of people has many questions to ask which they cannot be asking in someone's comment, but due to the absence of contact support it makes it hard for people to get the information they need. If contact support cannot work out, Ask-me page will do. This ask-me page will involve initial people on the inception of steemit or people who have gone far and acquired much experience on the platform who are willing devote themselves to help. I read the beginners guide which refers to steemitchat, I have been there severally but its not a good idea, besides its a different zone.

Buying steam encounter another loophole as its only with bitcoin and bitshares it can only be purchased. Adding a credit card processor will do or moreover fiat wallet like payza, webmoney, payeer or perfect money which are widely accepted, but not PayPal because its limited. Since steemit is open to everyone in the world and there are people who have never experience the taste of cryptocurrency, they find it difficult to buy bitcoin to their wallet then transfer to steemit for purchase of steem and some might loose their money on the process. But with credit card or fiat wallet it will just be from your account direct to steemit.

The access to every house is the door and what opened the door is the key (password). There is a need for password recovery. I don't know how the blockchain works but I think there is a solution to every problem to make things easier for people. No matter how secured your password is that is not a guarantee that it can never be lost. Because at times there are thing beyond our control. It will be a very painfull thing and unfair game when someone invest so much and lost everything within a twinkling of an eye because of password.

Be remind that this is just an opinion, as the final decision is rest on the steemit management. But I pray consideration will be rendered to my opinion. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks
Yours faithfully

I totally agree with you. There is at the moment no way to buy direct steem in the wallet here by creditcard or even things like paysafecard. Should be implemented for people, who are not common with cryptos and don't own any ether or bitcoins yet.
Thank you for your writings here. CU soon

Thanks man, just followed you back. I Just voiced out my opinion. But i dont know if people like or be against it.

A directly steemit-connected credit/debit card would be great.

Yeah its a good idea. But for beginners it might not be the best idea for them as they will pay for the shipping fee when requesting for it. If they can do it in a way for you to pay with the fiat wallets at first, then when you step up you apply for the steem-connected one. But truely a steem-connected card will be a big achievement.

The card idea has been talked about a few times yes it could be useful. But then that site become a target for people who really want that info. I yes they could use an offsite payment gateway. But right now you can buy steem with bitcoin which you can buy with a credit card.

But i do understand the convenience stand point tho.
