When you regenerate (reborn as a baby I take it?), do you remember?

this is the trick. being immortal you cannot die, but you can feel pain.

What is the difference between the two? I think immortality has the effects of regeneration.
Immortality ... you can't die! Maybe with instant regeneration they can kill you somehow! Even Wolverine had weaknesses!
Well. I wouldn't want to be tortured while being immortal.
