"People who absurdly compare others to a traitor who has been arrested."

In the early hours of the day, when the court issued an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk-yeol, the presidential office stated, "This result is not in line with the fairness of other opposition politicians," and expressed concern that "it may undermine public trust in the judiciary's fairness." This revealed strong dissatisfaction with the court's decision. Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok separately wrote on his Facebook account, "Whether the martial law is a riot for the purpose of constitutional disorder or an emergency measure to stop constitutional disorder will ultimately be judged by the people."

The ruling party issued an urgent message stating, "We are very sorry about the court's judgment." Shin Dong-wook, the chief spokesperson of the People Power Party, pointed out, "As a sitting president, there is no risk of flight or evidence destruction, and in a situation where various controversies over the illegal behavior of investigative agencies continue, it is questionable whether the impact of the arrest of the sitting president was fully considered."

Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency response committee of the People Power Party, said at an emergency meeting held in the morning, "Our criminal procedure law principle is to investigate all suspects without detention. The issuance of an arrest warrant early this morning broke this legal principle," and added, "I feel devastated and heartbroken." Chairman Kwon added, "This is not simply asking for special treatment for an individual, but upholding the values of the rule of law, such as voluntary investigation and the presumption of innocence."

In particular, the ruling party compared President Yoon with Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is currently undergoing five trials, and pointed out that "the judiciary has lost its sense of fairness." Chairman Kwon argued, "When the court reviewed the arrest warrant for Representative Lee two years ago, it dismissed the warrant, citing the importance of guaranteeing the defendant's right to defense as the leader of the first opposition party. If they are going to investigate the sitting president under arrest, the same standard should be applied to the opposition leader." Floor leader Kwon Seong-dong also said, "No matter how much the political world respects the judiciary's decision, it is now at a point where the public cannot trust the judiciary's fairness, and I even feel a sense of sorrow."

Major politicians of the ruling party also expressed their dismay, saying, "Absurd things keep happening" (Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo), "The current history is just heartbreaking" (Representative Na Kyung-won). Former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min argued, "As the investigation and impeachment trial of the president proceed, the court should also quickly rule on the criminal charges against Representative Lee. Representative Lee should also be dealt with simultaneously so that judicial justice and the rule of law can be realized, and the public can accept it." Representative Ahn Cheol-soo also said, "Article 11 of the Constitution, which states that 'all citizens are equal before the law,' should not have any exceptions for Representative Lee."

During the general election, someone who attended court three to four days a week for trials...

Even if we accept their words as they are,
I don't understand why they compare someone who is undergoing multiple trials
with someone who mobilizes private organizations to resist investigations.

Moreover, comparing them to a current offender who committed treason
just seems like a nonsensical argument.

Considering that they once worked as prosecutors or judges,
their appearance of denying their own identity for their own benefit
is their true face.

If they were to join another party, I think they would probably take the lead in criticizing the People Power Party.
