This is an initiative that aims to reward the best content creators on Hive picked by the community through decentralized Polls on Threads, while doing a coordinated effort to promote Hive on web2 social media platforms. If you want to learn more about this, click here.

Heads up, we changed the way of measuring weeks because we have new projects who joined later, so we are now tracking this initiative based on the week of the year.

We had more than 320 votes to choose the authors of this week in a decentralized way, in twenty two communities who published their "Author of the Week" contenders on a decentralized poll, and the community spoke out and picked their favorite author!
