Today, one of my dividend paying tokens, paid me in a token called HYPNO.
A closer look led to a pleasant surprise: a new super niche community on the Hive Platform. HYPNO is both a Community, and a front end for everything Hypnosis related.
On there you can post regarding different Hypnosis techniques, and tell stories about you and hypnotism.
The front end is a simple steemit clone:
It really does not have many posts, or many people commenting. This is however, an extremely unique niche, and the community is accepting only Hypnosis related content.
The project is so new that the Hive Chart still looks like this:

Seeing this emerging project made me want to write about my yearly trips to visit Taurus De Brazil in the Plaza Cultural, Tijuana, Mex. The man traveled the world hypnotizing people and he would make them sing and dance, or pretend to watch tv.
It was lots of fun but terribly scary. Sometimes he would recognize someone from the year before and control them in a manner of seconds. That made me keep my guard and not fall asleep.
He always rewarded the people he controlled with helping them with problems like over eating or smoking.
I even saw him cure a broken heart before.
I look forwards to curating in this community and bought myself 500 tokens to get started.
Buying and staking gives you the ability to call the !HYPNO bot.
I am guessing this is a way to help advertise and not really a tipping type of token.
Yes, I noticed some of these show up in my wallet, as well; bought and staked a few in support of the project since I work in the psychology and mental health field and hypnosis occasionally figures as a healing modality.
I find it interesting that someone created a microniche like this on Hive, and yet we don't have a broader "Psychology, Human Mind and Mental Health" type community on Hive... because that is a huge market across the web, and the world.

Yep, HYPNO is not a "tipping token", but I thought that temporarily enabling a distribution bot would help with spreading the word about us. That's also why we are airdropping the token to INDEX holders. 😀

I went to see his son a few times but it wasn’t the same. He was more expensive, more “sensational” and less authentic.
I think a distribution bot is a great idea to spread awareness.

I saw some videos from his son, John Milton, but I didn't previously know Mr. Taurus, nor did I know that John Milton was his son. And that's very unfortunate as I discovered now that he (Mr. Taurus) was born in the same country as me, hence the name "Taurus do Brasil".
Me too! 😁 My biggest "todo" right now is onboarding some hypnosis content creators from outside Hive so we can have more quality content very soon (and so that we can have more people on Hive too).

That's cool, wish the price wasn't so steep for the token or I would grab some. That's a bit out of my reach mostly, so I'll grab 5 for now and see what happens!

Had no idea there was a hypnosis community, sounds wild
How easy is it to set up a page like that? I don't know anything about programming but i used to cut and paste html for a weak website back in the 90s
It might be cool if there was a template so we could easily make a community/ website. Perhaps this exists even
Id like to make one where it would be niche music community/messageboard where people could share their music or videos

I'll take a look at it, I did buy 25 of them may up it to 100 eventually and stake it to help distribute, but I still have other holdings I am trying to build.
It is difficult to grow everything at the same time.
But buying a few tokens here and there is a nice way of diversifying. It keeps the tokens in your wallet and makes it easier to watch the growth.
