I am a self-taught, profitable trader, having started swing trading in 2019 rather amateurishly and joined the day trading ranks in 2020, although it was tough and risky. I watched countless videos, read a few books, went on discords to read posts and listen to live trading. First tines I didn't learn much in discord then as most traders were penny traders, full of bs, and traded like they were going off to war with the possibility of not coming back. I left discord groups and have returned occasionally to see what a few people are up to. You don't need to take a course to be successful, but I would counsel newbies by saying that it can save time and money. I have watched many videos about profitable trading. , I would watch SMB Capital's videos. They are prop traders but their videos are excellent for learning.
