Sorry, I also most forgot to cooment aboout the post
I agree that AI is something which will become ubiquitous, just like the internet.
And just like the internet we will think about it a lot at first, and then we will forget we are even using it.
Lastly, you are right, we are more dangerous then AI, because it is just a tool, for now, to do our bidding.
If we are unlucky it will one day be in a position to correct our worst instincts.
Actually I think a better analogy is to the computer. Generative AI is actually a new form of computing. With this in mind, I think your view is applicable.
How often do we think about using "a computer" especially if we are on the phone? For that matter, even our TVs are that also.
You are right, it is simply something we do and computers are all over 3rds world countries and expanding.
I see what your saying about the analogy.
I agree, the AI is going to be on our computer and it's use is going to be ubiquitous like searches are, but like searches we use to have to go to www.google.com to search, but now we type any word in the URL address box and hit return, search function has been built into this address bar function.
I think your right, that using AI will become invisible just like searches.
We compute without thinking about computing...
We search without thinking about searching...
And we will use AI without thinking about it.
