Half-dollar rolls are the best place to hunt for silver, in my opinion. Often it is a miss, but it is a great place to pick up all sorts of pre-'67s and some proofs if you are lucky.

Pro-tip: Get in good with the tellers at a local branch of your bank. And never dump your hunted rolls where you picked them up.
