I like the idea of making money work for you and i hate salary jobs which are boring for me and in fact I've never worked in a salary job more than two months. I respect people who have salary jobs because maybe they have no other choice or they like the job they do. There are a plenty of passive income options - stocks are just largely popular they are safer and less volatile compared to crypto assets.
Index funds such as S&P 500, Dow Jones, and NASDAQ are historically proven to be profitable and they are good long term investment options. Other than stocks there's also option for investors to hold assets such as foreign currencies, bonds, and options (some are riskier than others).
It is a matter of what market catches your eye the most - good investors can make the same returns in any markets whether it's bear or bull market. Currently I'm looking for undervalued passive income options if I can find good opportunities then I'm willing to risk some cash but at the moment investing is riskier than ever so you have to be really careful to not make dumb investing decisions.
