HODLers - It Only needs One Spike

We've all noticed a sharp decline in the price of hive lately, with quite a few eyebrows raised.

This is to be expected as hive is

  1. Relatively new
  2. Still relatively unknown
  3. Still trying to find its true value

All the excitement from migrating from steem has all but died down, so now the real work begins.

As we see efforts to build on the platform by various users and witnesses, we'll also see active and passive investors faced with price anxiety, and uncertainty over the future worth of their investments.

For really large investors, there's always the temptation to simply withdraw and explore other alts, perhaps with a better growth trajectory.

Am sure no one is completely loyal to one crypto these days though, not since the crash of 2018.

Still, there's ultimately no way to determine with certainty if a coin would do well. We can only make our permutations based on precedents and analysis, this doesn't always work.

Holding requires a fair bit of faith and a lot of instinct. It sounds like bull but I do think hive has a better chance of succeeding than steemit, it started on a better foot for one.

I keep thinking that as soon as the market rises, HIVE will do well.
In the meantime, we can keep building the ecosystem, accumulating as much as possible and also, why not, enjoying from the rewards obtained.

That's a good point, lower prices = more rewards

I am looking for a buy point, just missed one today.

I think the opportunity would present itself again this week. things look like they may continue on the downward trend a bit before stabilizing.

yep, I have set some lower buys ;D
