Over 92k Donors Exposed Who Gave to Trucker Convoy

The site that had been collecting donations for the Trucker Convoy recently was attacked and information related to those donors has been released. It is reported that there might be around 92,000 people who have been impacted by this.

Once the pressure came on crowdfunding sites raising donations it also was mentioned that perhaps truckers might look to getting cryptocurrency donations. Several btc had been raised by people who were looking to give to the cause. But recently, Canada updated their rules around money laundering laws in an effort to restrict crowdfunding sites and cryptocurrency transactions.

One of the largest banks in the country, TD Bank, has also decided to allegedly freeze the accounts that received money for the protests as well. It's reported that they froze accounts with over $1 million that was allegedly intended to be financial support for the truckers.

People around the world have shown their support for the protest, but within Canada there are many leaders who have denounced it and refuse to refer to it as anything other than an insurrection, an occupation, and an illegal blockade.

Trudeau recently sought to invoke the Emergencies Act and only seems to be wanting to try and make the situation worse rather than considering significant broad changes related to the pandemic and the fact that many Canadians are being treated as second class citizens with 'unacceptable views'.

Premiers with several provinces, at least 4 so far, have already opposed the invoking of the emergency measures, but will the PM care or listen to those concerns?

This protest and the response from gov has arguably done significant damage to Canada's reputation as being a supposed beacon of democracy and freedom.

Some say this move for the emergencies act will help matters, while others only see it as a desperate attempt at even more tyranny.

Civil liberties associations have not been that outspoken in recent weeks over the mandates and protests but they did speak out on the recent move for invoking that Emergencies Act, stating there is no justification for its use.

Popular Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson has referred to it as possibly the worst act of corruption in the history of the country.

Canadian leaders just this week voted on whether or not they would formulate a plan forward on how to get out of these COVID-19 restrictions eventually, but even that political promise appeared to be too much for them to handle, as the measure was voted down largely by the Liberals, NDP, and Green party. In voting down that measure they demonstrate that they aren't ready it seems to even think about embracing any changes as far as a plan back to normal.

Several provinces have signaled that they are dropping passports soon, but there are others who aren't open to revealing any plan in moving forward with those changes.

Their stubbornness to embrace a return to normalcy, for those who want to get back to work, or travel to visit their family and loved ones etc, comes despite the trend we've seen with others around the world who are embracing that reduction in restrictions and return to normal.

But recently, Canada updated their rules around money laundering laws in an effort to restrict crowdfunding sites and cryptocurrency transactions.

This means that the government fear that they lose its power over the people, and they are trying to control every possible threat to avoid losing their power over the people.

Probably they are willing to do anything to keep their power over the people.

Some say this move for the emergencies act will help matters, while others only see it as a desperate attempt at even more tyranny.

I am not from Canada, but this is obviously strengthening the tyranny. Similarly to my country (Hungary), where it is an everyday practice of the government to oppress/suppress people by doing various things, including maintaning financial discrimination (keeping people under the local minimum wage, not increasing the minimum pension, stealing private pension fund, etc).

I hope that the people in Canada (and in every tyranny) keep fighting for their rights, and I also hope that one day cryptocurrency will put an end to every tyranny.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
