I too once thought that, but I realized that this is a very complicated system and everything has its own purpose. Some of the tools can be misused but that doesn't mean that they should be banned. What I think you will see as this platform develops is that people that make good connections are the ones that do best. The bots or groups are irrelevant in the long term. They are just tools that can do certain things.

I myself like to experiment with everything so that I learn it and how it works. My feeling is these tools can be used to also level the playing field for the good guys too. So by learning how they work, I can then see if we can find a good use for them to help the people that need it. I understand the abuse, but over time I believe that "good" will win because the system needs to encourage it if they expect to survive.

So I think you are doing it right by staying yourself with genuine interaction. Eventually as this platform grows, it will reward the people like you. I hope you join Asher's League of Excellence its a great way to meet others that are genuine like you too!
