I don't have a problem with short articles or posts, it's just the unreasonable votes that are disappointing.

The “author” has purchased votes on the post. Check www.steembottracker.com. You can buy votes on your posts. It doesn’t always give a profit however so it’s generally not advised to use them much. Some people buy votes to get eyes on their content which makes sense. But I wouldn’t do it if you just want to profit.

It can. You just need to find some groups on here to communicate with and who will appreciate your content.

just search under the tags that interest you and get to know the people who post regular good content there. You'll find them soon enough.
