The lower house of New South Wales has passed a law. That law calls for the inclusion of positive consent in special relationships. As a result, the court's strategy is likely to change in determining whether there was consent to rape and sexual harassment.

Verbal consent is quite different from the traditional notion of consent. In this case, the person who has been accused of sexual harassment or harassment has clearly asked for consent to the special relationship and whether he has received it or not.
