Laughter is a good medicine for you. There is perhaps some truth in saying, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away. " Many doctors and psychologists believes that laughter is good for the physical and mental health of a person. It has good healing effects.
Laughter cam have the following effects in the body system:
- It gives a healthy workout to many organs in the body, the diaphragm, the thorax, abdomen, heart and lungs are given a good exercise.
- It also provides an internal message.
- It improves blood circulation.
- It aids digestion by helping to stimulate the production of enzymes.
- It helps in relieving headaches and makes one feel better according to some neurologists.
- It lightens stress, anxiety, depression and pain.
Competitions in presenting jokes can also be held at parties and excursions. If they cannot be spontaneous throughout, prepared jokes in sealed envelops could be drawn and read or cracked at the occasion. Jokes and humor come in great variety in many areas of human Endeavour.
