I really enjoyed my time camping as there weren't any complications what so ever. For the next few days we lived a very simple life trekking, fishing, basically just living. My friend snapped this picture of me fishing close to the campsite.

@phoneypictures nice pic mate . Did you get licence to catch fish? To my understanding you cant fish without purchasing a fishing licence for the season . I was not into fresh water fish when I was in Southland. Sea fishing was good . Don't forgot to collect some mussels in Riverton . They are very decent size and naturally grown not the farmed one .
Thanks buddy. Yup i got a one day fishing permit while we were there, my friend Kyle got an NRL for 12 months. I went got some Paua and Mussels by Banks peninsula, that was great.Few of my Kiwi buddies were really into spear fishing as well.
Awesome mate . Keep up the venturing . Kiwis are amazing people and down to earth. Outdoor sports are amazing . I'm glad you tried the Paua and Mussels .
Thank you.. I've moved back to India now.. These picture were taken 2-3 years ago..
