Take a tour on my morning journey - Travel Road.
This is the path I always track every morning on my way to work. Such serine view with lush greenery and blue skies. Honestly, before all the beauty of this scenery is taken for granted. I am used to the view so I haven't appreciated its beauty and colors. Now I want to share and let you experience the glamour of nature. Come with me and I would take you for a tour.
UM AL EMARAT PARK.
Beside my work place is Um Al Emarat Park, After crossing Airport Road I am always greeted by the stunning colors of the park. It is peaceful place and there are couple of people taking their early morning doze of fresh air. Some jog around the park and some sit on the benches, relaxing.
Then, I would walk along this path meeting people who is making their early morning jogging. Some faces are already familiar to me but some are new. After exchanging our good mornings and how are you's, I continue my walk. Usually, it takes me - 05 to 10 minutes to reach the office. But now that I enjoy posting photos on SteemIt - it takes me 10 to 15 minutes. I just adjust my time leaving home to cover my pictorials.
There were Date Palm trees every where. Phoenix dactylifera, commonly known as date or date palm, is a flowering plant species in the palm family, Arecaceae, cultivated for its edible sweet fruit. Although its place of origin is unknown because of long cultivation, it probably originated from lands around Iraq.
Date trees typically reach about 21–23 metres (69–75 ft) in height, growing singly or forming a clump with several stems from a single root system. The leaves are 4–6 metres (13–20 ft) long, with spines on the petiole, and pinnate, with about 150 leaflets. The leaflets are 30 cm (12 in) long and 2 cm (0.79 in) wide. The full span of the crown ranges from 6–10 m (20–33 ft). Description Source
The path ways are decorated by flower. Some flower decorations are Bougainvillea.
Bougainvillea (/ˌbuːɡɪnˈvɪliə/ or /ˌboʊɡɪnˈvɪliə/) is a genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes, and trees with flower-like spring leaves near its flowers. Different authors accept between four and 18 species in the genus. Bougainvillea are also known as buganvilla (Spain), bugambilia (Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, Philippines), bouganvilla (India), pokok bunga kertas (Indonesia, Malaysia), bougenville (Pakistan), Napoleón (Honduras), jahanamiya (Arab World), veranera (Colombia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama), trinitaria (Colombia, Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic & Venezuela), Santa Rita (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) or papelillo (Northern Peru). This is my morning route ritual. A dazzled of fresh air, friendly people, morning smiles and natures beauty. Thanks to SteemIt that I believe I found a new hobby.
