When I first started photography I was amazed by the beauty of astrophotography. I loved all the milky way shots on the internet but didn't really thought about taking some on my own. Everybody was talking about the difficulty of astrophotography and the wide apertures of expensive lenses and I only got a small DSLR.
As I'm living next to a big city I don't have the opportunity to simply go out and even try capturing stars. This changed when I visited some family members in northern Germany and witnessed an unbelievable dark night. First I was unsure but then I didn't care about high ISO or f-stop numbers and simply started shooting.
In my opinion the result is pretty decent! As a conclusion I learned there is no right or wrong in photography: you probably don't fit everybody's taste but you won't either by staying at home. And the best way to get good result is trying it no matter what kind of camera you are using.
Hey there! Welcome to my steemit page, the collection of my interests: I’m passionate about photography and traveling which I’m both combining right here.
For me it's not about technically perfect shots because I love to summarize a story or a moment in a picture. This kind of background story isn't always visible at first sight, so on my page you'll not only find pictures but places, anecdotes, tips, tricks, recommendations,...
