This morning we hiked to the First Waterfall in Jonkershoek, South Africa. We had about 30 kids of ages 6-9 with us. The hike is only about 3km, but the scenery is spectacular. The kids enjoyed the waterfall and swimming in the cool mountain pool.
What a privilege to teach the kids about nature and its beauty from an early age. Too many of them simply sit in front of the TV all day!

wow wat an experience that must be for these children , what age is your son and the others ? Personally I think it's great that you can give em these experiences , sometimes just a bit unlucky that not all the children in the world may have these experiences.
So not that I doubt about your great vision to educate your children, I hope that they learn something in moral and ethics about preserve of water and that they may be very lucky to be the ones of future generation that are born in a warm caring environment and that a lot of children (don't mind wich color) don't have this luxury .

My sister´s children are so lazy, just play games with PC.. I dont like it.. .
That one kid was so not into that selfie, lol. Nature is so important as a kid. Getting to know the world around you instead of getting lost in electronics. The power of the internet can show kids the whole wide world all at once, but it can't give them the save experience of walking along a mountain trail on a warm sunny day with friends :) Always love seeing your pics pop up!
Haha, that is my son... he always pull funny faces when he knows he is being photographed. ;)
