I guess this is my ‘comeback blog’ after my last posting about 4 years back. So..hi guys how r u guys doing? Its been a while. 😊

A lot had changed since last time, but theres also some things that dont. Lets get on to the summary of each in a glance to catch up shall we. :)

What HAS NOT changed.

I am still KLSKETCHNATION. For the 8th years this coming March since 2014, i am still continuously developing the concept, fighting the same cause to instill the idea of how important arts in every human beings. One of the biggest milestone for myself as the advocator i would say happened in 2020; i was finally invited and featured in a TEDtalk. Alhamdulillah. 😊 Do check it out below;

This event would sums up my whole life’s work; my NGO, my phD, my bread and butter as well as my life’s philosophy. Oh yes im still fighting to finish my phD research and hope to finish this soon. Its almost overdue so pray for my strength to make to it please.

What HAVE changed?

Well the world have changed so much since the covid19 pandemic started wasnt it? Everyone’s life was effected, so does mine. As an extreme extrovert myself, things were suffering; locked at home, no events can be done, not much interaction with humans, no live performances, no public lectures, no cafe hopping session, no random conversations with strangers in trains or cafes, it sucks.

What made it worst? Trying to force virtual connections as an alternative to charge my social battery. It was a total failure. Little that i know it drains me so much with all the shortcomings of virtual connections. I was teaching architecture part time when it first happened so we were the pioneers in the transition to online teaching. So i did tutoring online for 2 semesters then i decided to stop.

Thats when i got a lot of time to get back into blockchain and learn about NFT which was just started then. Ive got the initial cost covered from my previous coins ive collected and abandoned in Steemit previously it was around 500usd worth. Changed them into Tezos, BNB and Ethereum to start my NFT journey with a group of online friends, a community called NFXT until today. :)

Ive also founded a new wing of KLSKETCHNATION called Sketchnation_META to venture more into the technology of blockchain and AR/VR/MR/XR. More on that in another post. :)
