한국 사람들은 독이 든 생선을 먹죠. 아주 좋아하는 사람들도 많아요.
Koreans eat poisonous fish. A lot of people love it.

바로 요 놈! 복어

너무 무섭게 생겼다고요? 위협을 느끼면 몸을 부풀려서 적에게 위압감을 주기 때문에 저러고 있네요.
Does it look very scary? That's because when it detects danger, it puffs its body to intimidate its enemies.

복어, 못 생겼어도 너무 맛있죠. 우리 부부도 너무 좋아해요. 특히 술먹고 해장으로 끝내줌
It is not the most handsome fish in the world but it's delicious. We love it as well. BTW, it's a go-to dish after a night of drinking.

오늘은 집 근처(대구에 살아요) '임진강'이라는 복어전문점에서 저녁을 먹었어요. 꼭 전문점에서 드세요~ 독이 있으니깐요
Today, we visited a restaurant named Imjin River where it serves Blowfish. (Since it has deadly poison in them, the restaurants would always have cooks who hold licenses for serving this dish)

밑반찬 셋팅되구요. 아 이 연두부 너무 맛있어요!
These are called Banchan which are typically served in all kinds of Korean dishes. THAT tofu was good!

복어지리가 끓고 있네요. 복어지리 2인분인데 복어탕 양념을 달라고 하면 주시거든요.
그래서 복어지리로 먹다가 복어탕으로 변신!도 가능합니다.
They are two types of soup, Jiri and Tang. (J is pronounced) We actually ordered two of Jiri but you can add pepper sauce to taste what Tang would taste like.

콩나물을 건져서 양념에 비벼주십니다. 콩나물. 외국에서는 잘 안먹는 것 같은데 한국인의 식탁에서
빠질 수가 없죠 특히 해장할 때
Bean sprouts are served with its sauce. Bean sprouts are not usually to be seen in dishes in Western countries but it is typical Korean Banchan.

비장의 무기는 바로 밥을 비비는거죠. 사진보니까 또 먹고싶네요. 콩나물이랑 미나리랑 친해요 진짜 잘 어울리죠
You MUST mix the rice and sauce so that sauce is evenly distributed. Bean Sprout and Water parsley go very well together.

콩나물 진짜 맛있는데.. 외국인 친구들한테도 권해보고 싶네요 색다른 경험으루
We recommend bean sprouts to other foreign friends who haven'ts tried it for experience.

위치는 여기! 대구분들은 한 번 가볼만한 것 같네요. 꽤 오래된 집이에요.
