KOGs - The Final Countdown - Sale Event Happens Tomorrow

The excitement has been building for the last couple weeks in anticipation of the next WAX NFT release.

Tomorrow morning at 10am EST the sale begins.

In a historic new kind of NFT offering, the total supply for these First Edition KOGs is entirely undetermined. In fact, no one has any idea how many will be minted until the moment the sale ends, three hours after it begins.

This 3-hour sale method was KOGs' solution to the hurry-up-and-click congestion that some of the other WAX releases have experienced. For example, the launch of Blockchain Heroes on 8/8 overloaded the Cloud Wallet servers so much that they crashed... twice. A lot of collectors were disappointed and did not get the cards they wanted. The KOGs team is hoping that they can make sure everyone who wants in gets a good solid chance to be part of this historic release.

Of course, some collectors will still be rushing in for early packs and opening them as quickly as possible to get those rare low mints numbers. Some traders will be buying packs and trading their contents immediately on secondary markets to future players looking to complete a set. Others will leave packs entirely unopened, hoping to sell them as whole packs for a quick and easy 2 to 3 times markup after the sale ends. This type of sale is uncharted territory; we're all very excited to see how it plays out.

The Details

The KOGs team has done an excellent job of releasing information, but not too much information to the fans. They have shared much of the artwork for the KOGs with eager fans in daily Discord calls. These calls, each with only 10 or 12 of the most dedicated fans, have really made the experience something special.

Only WAXP will be accepted as payment for packs, and the WAX Cloud Wallet is strongly recommended. The above post includes links to guides to buying WAX if you do not yet have any.
