Magnets are an important part of a power generation system, regardless of the source of hydroelectric power (hydropower), steam power plant (PLTU), steam power plant (PLTGU), wind power, and some types other power plants. Perhaps only solar power plants and power plants from fuel cells that do not use magnetic components in their generation systems, because electricity is directly generated through physical and chemical processes in the materials it uses.

Magnets in a generator system are found in the generator part, where they can generate electricity by rotations simultaneously with turbine spins with the help of energy sources such as potential energy of water, wind, steam, and so on. But it turns out the magnet can also be a source of propulsion energy for the generator itself.

Tools and materials

  • round 8 seed magnets (as rotor)
  • Magnet (former speaker) 1 seed (as Stator)
  • Children Toys (as a magnetic wheel)
  • Wood to taste.
  • LED light 1.
  • Coil wire to taste.
  • Dynamo / generator 1 piece.
  • Scissor.
  • Glue.

Ways of working

The magnet power plant has a fairly simple working principle, which utilizes forces from opposite magnetic flux directions as energy sources that can make other magnets move. If the opposite magnetic flux is composed of multiple magnets such that magnets in the former speaker are brought close to the magnets attached then they will trigger the movement of other magnets acting as the rotor. Then from this part of the rotor can be connected with the part of the other magnet that serves as a generator. From the generator that starts working (spinning) it will generate electrical energy that will cause the LED light will light up.

Obstacles

There are several obstacles in this research about free energy generator, among them are:

a. It is still difficult to find a magnet that is relatively small and lightweight, but has a very strong magnetic flux power. Even if there is, the price is very expensive.

b. In the absence of a monopole magnet, in order to obtain optimal rotation, in our group instead of using a round magnet as its rotor, it is difficult to determine the direction of the magnetic poles similar to the others. Because based on the theory, the magnet used must be monopole.

c. The power generated is still small so it is not effective for large scale power plants.

Benefits

Although it has a lot of obstacles, this magnetic power plant if successful, it will result in benefits, including:

  • Gain free flow of electricity continuously and stable.

  • Environmentally friendly and does not generate gas and chemical emissions.

  • Can be operated in very cold or very hot conditions, both inside and outside the room.

  • The shape is small and easy to make.

  • Almost no treatment required.

  • It is suitable for traveling such as camping to areas that are difficult to get electricity, although suitable also for use as a source of electrical lighting at home. This idea can also be used as a fan without electrical energy.

My dad, rest in peace, always thought magnetic force could produce free energy. Great post!

Your father is right @geke, let's imagine if we have a magnet that is big enough this will be an alternative energy
