These Red Hot Pokers look really beautiful.
Over here in Germany we got a lot of ball thistle at the moment. I like the color and the shape of the flower.

Wow they are a lovely colour and shape. We have several types of thistle here, but they are a problem plant with very thorny leaves and stems, and they seed readily. At least they have a good function in holding the soil together.
