KIMCHI RAMEN. I was thinking of upping my kimchi and I saw the shrimp flavored noodles I got from Zamboanga City when Yolynne and I went to the barter market.
The noodles are similar to what we see and eat in Indonesia and Malaysia when we go there. Using the kimchi juice oozing from the fermented goodness of the cabbage, and splatting a dash of Korean chili powder in chicken broth, it will definitely change the way you eat noodles. haha
To be honest, I'm not a fan of ramen. but kimchi juice in ramen makes me crave. Loving the battle of sweet, sour and spicy flavors while sliding the noodles in between tight lips Korean-style! (slurrrpp)
We usually get this dish at a local Korean eatery in front of Upang Phinma. But since its too far from here, the stubborn girl in me made my own.
The dish is best served on a rainy day, on a bed weather, when you miss someone or when just about crazily craving for something to play around with your palate.
We'll serve this anytime soon once we open. So won't you come by and share a bowl of marupok kimchi ramen?
