Kids are so innocent, they just believe what is fed into their little brain. My elder one was an inquisitive child and had lots of questions. He always wanted to know why he was dark while his I was fairer. I tried telling him that that's how it works. Back here in Asia some have lighter shades and some have darker skin tones, but he was too young to understand and his grandma made it worse by making him concious that he was dark.

I would see he was being disturbed with constant remarks from him grandma and knew somewhere that talking about it with the grandma was just wasting precious time, Soni decided to talk with my son and told him and I and his dad went shopping at heaven and we couldn't find a cuter brown kid than he was. I told him that I loved his skin colour and he looked adorable. We asked God if we could take him home and God blessed us with him. He was somewhat convinced and started loving his colour. Now he is grown up and laughs when I tell him how I brought him from god's shopping mall.
The younger one is just three and is very mischievous. He didn't bother getting a cut or a bump on his body. I tried telling him that he should play safe, but he just wouldn't care. So I told him how difficult it was to make him. He asked me what I meant by that and I showed him how I made his different body parts using dough and gave it to god to bake it and put life in it. And we had to be extremely careful with our body because God cannot bake the same body again and again. He believed me and is now a little more careful with it.
I find it funny about how they believed me, but then that's what kids are right.. simply innocent.
I was naiver than what my kids are when I was their age. I believed eating a seed would lead to growing a tree from my navel. I also believed that movies are real life and I could really make power puff girls if I had all ingredients and a lab coat.
We were definitely more naive growing up, but i told my kids all kinds of things. I use to work all hours and one night in the summer I was so tired i changed the clock and convinced them it was 10 pm at 6 pm so they would go to sleep so I could. They slept 14 hrs. Lol
