Determine the slope of each side of the quadrilateral whose vertices are A(5,6), B(13,6),
C(11,2). Can you tell what kind of quadrilateral it is?

  1. A quadrilateral has as vertices the points M(a,b), N(c,d), Q(c+d,e), P(a+d,e). Find the slope
    of each side.
  2. C is the mid-point of AB, A if the point (-3,-2), and B is the point (2,8).
    What is the slope of BC?
  3. Given the points D(-4,6), E(1,1), F(4,6), find the slopes of DE and
    (c) F = {x/x is a natural number that is divisible by 3}
  4. A = {x/x2 + x – 6 } and B = { -3,2}. Is A = B?
  5. A = {x/x is prime number which is less than 10} and B = {x/x2 – 8x + 15 = 0}
    (a) Is A = B (b) Is B⊂ A?
  6. P = {x/x is an integer and -1 < x<3/5 }and Q = {x/x3 -3x2 + 2x = 0} . Is P = Q?
    6.L= {(x,y)/ x and y are positive integers and x + y = 7}.Write L by listing its elements.
