Khajjiar Lake

Khajjiar is approx 20 kms away from Dalhousie town. It has a huge grassland surrounded by forests. There is a small muddy slush in between this grassland which is referred to lake. If we overlook the lake part, then the beauty of this place is awesome. A morning walk or run around this field is refreshing. There are small food joints here at one end of the field for tea/ snacks and food. There are very few place to stay over night. Most of the tourists come to this place for a day trip however, spending night in this quiet place and get up here for a morning walk or run around this grassland is awesome experience.
