Nice UI updates, thanks. I think you need to add a way of changing the theme from the UI too, instead of just via a keyboard shortcut.. as many people won't know the shortcut or will forget over time.

I would try making the lines bolder and a different colour, yes.
It doesn't need to be complicated. The dark/light button on coin market cap works fine and it's just black/bold.
Yeah, sometimes color makes all the difference. Like with a beautiful vbulletin theme I once used. It was awesome, except for a few things like the text in the input box being the same color as the box. Had to fix that before it was usable 🤣

Do you mean a slightly bolder border on the circle surrounding the theme icon?
I completely missed the icon to begin with as it doesn't stand out well enough and I am trained by other sites to expect the icon to be more visible.
There are obviously different ways to go about it but the coin market cap one is an example of a simple way to do it that works and looks good. In their case they just used black and white, with a bold style.
I get your point, we'll see how we can make it more visible.
This is a very elegant idea. On the other hand I don't find myself changing this setting regularly. I use dark mode for everything. I would be fine to have the setting in user preferences section of the menu.
