Using last week's technique, I decided to separate the dough into twain and see if using a bread pan or baking a Lump(tm) made a difference in the rise.
Turns out that I still have an eye like a rotten eel and can't divide things evenly to save my soul. The lump in the foreground just contains more dough than the rectangu-loaf in the rear.
If anyone knows a reliable way to evenly divide 1.7 kilos of dough when eyeballing it is clearly not enough, then I would love to know it.
...speaking of eyes like rotten eels...
It also turns out that most of my family shares that attribute. None of us can cut a straight slice to save our souls. Thusly, the love of my life is going to be building a bread-cutting box and I get the sensation that I will be assisting in the construction thereof.
Henceforth, all future loaves of mine shall be rectangular because that's the size of the impending cutting guide.
I'm almost out of all my prepped meals, so that means an impending tour-de-force of cooking for the next array of prepped meals.
All recipes and noise will be shared as soon as I'm able.
To be more than honest, I'm waiting and hoping that the insanity of the current moment will be at an ebb by the time I get literally everything for the meal prep.
I may be documenting the bread guide. I don't know yet. I will be interesting, no matter what.
