I am totally keen on entering this! I read the rules and stuff but still feel like I am a lil lost with regards to how to enter?
Do I create a video post of me singing a song or whatever and enter it into the contest by tagging as #karaokecontest?
Then do I need to drop the link to my post on this thread here? To enter for the following week?
Then people vote on this thread? or they vote on my link?

Yes. Create a video with you singing to a karaoke track (there are about a million on Youtube). If you want to sing AND play an instrument you should check out OpenMic. There's a lot of exposure over there. π
And yes again. Drop the link to your Post AND EMBED the video in the comments.

Hahaha @carrieallen, thank you for the encouragement! I have been sucked up into the sketching world these past few days, voice is feeling a lil better, nothing some solid warming up shouldn't fix
I see you already got a reply, not sure why I didn't get notified of the mention hmm. But looks like you got an answer. I am with you I would get over the hoarseness first in your voice cause I know you are a musician and gotta take care of your voice. I do the same thing :) Hope to see you doing this soon though
