Censored on TikTok, now moving to Hive

Tena koutou katoa ngā tangata o te ao, he mihi tēnei ki a koutou, no reira kia ora (Hello people of the world, this is a greeting to you all, therefore hello and be well)...

This is a short introduction to this cause “He Ngaakau Titikaha” meaning “Relentless Heart” - born from my own experiences with domestic violence, institutional racism, and family court abuse in Aotearoa (New Zealand), I’m dedicated to advocating for myself and other women and children who are or have experienced the same. I strongly believe in the self-determination and sovereignty of women, children, and tangata whenua (indigenous) of Aotearoa.

Recently, my TikTok account was banned after a particular individual used the legal system to shut it down and silence my voice - it’s a reminder of how oppressive the system is and how far some will go to suppress the truth.

I decided to move everything to Hive to stop the censorship and because I can see how Hive could be a way to raise funds for the cause through posting and engaging. I also see how much potential Hive has to be a tool for other social justice causes and grassroots programs that support our Indigenous communities in Aotearoa (New Zealand), especially now with how badly people are struggling here.

I’m rebuilding the TikTok channel and will link this blog to it, therefore, I will use this space to continue sharing ideas and connecting with others with the same interests.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading, and follow me as I continue to stand for justice, truth, and self-determination.

Ngā mihi nui (many greetings).
