Are we perfect enough yet?

in #judgement6 years ago

One great way for the 1% to divide and conquer is to keep compassionate people arguing with each other, and one of the hot topics these days is judgementalism. Let's all sit around debating how bad judgemental people are, instead of admitting that we are likely going to be judgemental at some point every day, so why not use it to best advantage?

Here's my fb post about it: Another poster discussed judgemental behaviour, and I figure, I'm not perfect. I will likely be an assh*** today and make some judgements, sure, that's realistic. So I may as well aim my pathetic judgements against those who need it most --the most powerful and corrupt in our world, who are destroying life on earth, as well as those who close their eyes to all of this and work to support it.

I don't see any point in judging other ordinary decent people. In fact, I think the mainstream culture we are fed since birth tries to convince us that we should judge each other while admiring the morally corrupt OCD hoarders with billions of dollars, just because they have a lot of shiny things, and ignore the way in which they got this loot. So yes, I am judgemental, but I try to aim it only at those doing the worst who need to be reined in by us, the little people, who should not judge each other, but judge those who are doing harm willfully and cruelly.

Like fossil fuel corporation owners and execs.

Like the corps that invented poisons in WWII and profited from the death camp labour and now sell their poisons to spray on your food crops, your forests where animals are now starving to death and getting wasting diseases, your roadsides and boulevards and even your parks.

Like the weapons manufacturers whose marketing departments must house the most vile and horrific thoughts of human culture, to enable them to actually go to work every single day, and after their morning coffee, sit down and come up with more ways to sell more life killing weapons, which necessarily involves supporting war for no fucking reason other than to make their bosses richer.

Like WTF?????????Who can do that at work every day????? Oops, sorry, being judgemental there again. Damn. The nice people should just sit here and feel bad for being judgemental of the assh**es? Oh shit, sorry, you just go right ahead and sell weapons so that the Saudis, who aren't fucking rich enough yet, can bomb a country called Yemen where most people live in amazing buildings made out of MUD, yes.

Sure. I feel bad for judging that, I should go and smash my head against the wall for a while, and they just go on about their days with your Starbucks coffee, marketing weapons of war and death. And finally, there is the CIA, the FBI and the NSA, busily perfecting technologies of surveillance that include nanotechnology that can spy on you from a literal speck of dust. Real. But wait, I shouldn't be judgemental. Sorry.
