Have you every competed against a 10th Planet player and were stuck with their Lock Down and Electric Chain sweep? This technique will not only reverse the position on them, but it will allow you to completely dominate them and submit them at will!
This technique is so easy that it can be taught to white belts but so effective, it can be used to tap black belts! When your opponent uses the lock down on your leg in the half guard, you must immediately grab their bicep with the same side hand and make that a priority. Once you have control of their bicep, lean to one side and pop your trapped knee out then lean to the opposite side and begin to stand up. Once you stand up their legs are now trapped, from here you can taunt and take your time. When you have had enough fun, stand up, straighten your leg and lean back to finish. Guys, I have seen many submissions but I wish I had learned this one before facing a 10th planet Black Belt when I was a blue belt in a Pro Grappling match which I will post below the technique.

I play lockdown actually as last resort from my halfguard. This will be ingesting I’m going to show it to my team mates ( NOT) ha ha. Interesting way to get out. I have another attack against it and that’s to slide downward and clasp arms underneath both legs and straighten the lockdown leg. It makes the 10th planet player calfslice him/herself and they let go. I will probabaly shoot a example of the technique now. Thanks for the inspiration. I will try this, more tricks in my bag.
I know, and to tell you the truth, I have been in the competition circuit since 2009 and the only competitors I ever had words with were 10th planet people. From my very first NAGA to my very last Pro Grappling match.
