JewelsCoin ICO Results and Progress: 9/7/2016

in #jewelscoin8 years ago

To start off we want to thank everyone who has shown an interest in our project as well as a massive shutout to everyone who participated in our ICO. In total we raised 336 BTC which is far in excess of our original goal of 200. It wouldn't have been possible without your help!

Over the past week we've been hard at work finalizing coin distribution, working on new wallet features, reaching out to various exchanges and much, much more. This post will focus on the work we've already accomplish as well as offering a view into what's coming up in the near future. We hope to continue posting similar updates in the coming weeks to keep members of our community in the loop at all times.

Web Wallet

Following the end of our ICO, we made it our priority to complete the coin distribution and encourage users to make use of our web wallet functionality. This system has come a long way in the past week. Below is a list of the features currently available or being launched by the end of this week.

  • Wallet Overview

    • All Investors generated a fresh JewelsProject.com account.
      • Forced password reset on first login.
    • Recent Tweets from @JewelsCoin
    • Balance Overview
    • Transaction History
  • Account Management

    • Two Factor Authentication (Google Authenticator)
    • Password Reset (Through validated Email)
    • IP History Log (last 3 logins to your account)
  • Finances

    • Send/Deposit Jewels
    • Purchase Jewels (Paypal)
    • Maturity/Transaction History

In regards to purchasing Jewels via Paypal there will be a significant mark up on the price for using this method that will seem to decrease with more expensive packages due to “bonus Jewels.” The important thing to note here is that we have no intention of undercutting the cryptocurrency market and Jewels via Paypal will always be traded as a mark up of what the exchange value is. We strongly encourage our users to obtain Bitcoin and even provide a small guide as to how to do so as it is the cheaper method (plus you get mature Jewels).

Exchanges

We're as anxious as you all are to get listed on top tier exchanges as quickly as possible. As mentioned in our BitCoinTalk thread, we've submitted all of the requested documentation and paperwork to Bittrex and are currently waiting on them to review our final application. This process is necessary regardless of if they require us to pay for a listing or not. The only further thing that may be done at this point to potentially hasten that process is by having our community encourage them to add Jewels by tweeting @BittrexExchange or suggesting it through the Bittrex Slack channel.

Thankfully we've already been able to be listed on both Alcurex and Yobit which is a great first step. In the coming weeks as more use cases for jewels become publicly available and the wallet functionality is expanded, we expect more exchanges will take note and begin listing the coin.

Jewels Gambling

Right now the first phase of provably fair jewels gambling games is in development. This process includes concept art, environment design, the official game design document and processing developer interviews.

Our goal is to create a cohesive gambling experience between our games. As such we will be starting with a fantastic pre-made environment pack to give us an initial theme for the gambling room. We will then be designing custom interface elements and of course designing the individual gambling tables and machines to offer uniqueness to our projects. Here's a screenshot we are basing the initial environment off of.
