My friends today. I'm very excited to introduce to you the creator coaching community available at https://jerrybanfield.com/. This now is my one offering. I'm completely eliminating everything else, eliminating tips and accepting payment and any other forms of monetization This creator coaching community is the highest value proposition I can offer. It gives you direct access to me and everyone else who's in the community.
I was inspired to start this listening, thinking about what I need. One of the most difficult things to do as a creator is to have a community that's there to support you. We're going to talk about this while I play some fallout on my live stream today and record this for my podcast. One of the most difficult things is to get have a community around you when you're creating online.
It's so frustrating and miserable lacking a community because you don't have people to help you. And a lot of times a lot of you are trying to kind of make community by tipping and by throwing money around and trying to get connected with people. And it it consistently fails is a consistent waste of your money. And I've got a system that's much better today.
So this is the first day I'm launching it. I'll answer any questions you've got about it. Long story short, one of the best reasons to join my community is it's it'll when you are in it, you get full access to me and anybody else's in the community. I am exclusively watching live streams and sharing streams, setting up streams.
Everything I'm doing is through my creator coaching community now. So I am happy to be here with you today. So the first thing you want to know is like, what's the main value proposition of the creator community? The main value proposition is answering the biggest struggle you're likely to have as a creator is that you you aren't grounded.
Your community is not genuine. You don't have experienced people that you really are connected to and can talk to and can hang out on a very regular basis with you. This kind of a community, if you want to get access to it, will often cost you thousands of dollars to get access to someone. With my level of experience that you can really talk with and people who are on a similar level for them.
And I'm proud to offer this at a price. It's extremely affordable on my website and to eliminate anything else I'm offering to make space with it. I'm not selling anything else besides this, not taking any other forms of monetization I was inspired to offer this by listening to Mr. Beast. He said that when he was making the key jump in his YouTube channel from about 20,000 subscribers to a million, he had a group of people that he hung out with on Skype who were all in the same position, and they would just hang out and talk YouTube stuff all day.
And I see that that's not only is that what I'm missing, that's what most creators are missing. And in order to get access to a community like this, you either just need to know people yourself and set it up, which is great. If you can do that where most of you are struggling to set something like that. Most of you are throwing money around, hanging out in people's chats, hoping to develop some kind of community.
And it's often very fragile and platform specific. And if you find yourself frequently complaining or upset with your views and if you find yourself frequently confused and frustrated with your content, this indicates that you really could use a community to support you And for me, I'm tired of trying to sell all these other products and having the confusion of all these other services, like having people tip me and then expect things in return.
Having people, for example, drop a bunch of gifts, jobs, and then expect that I'm going to come watch the stream I want to focus all of my energy and effort on giving you the most I can and bringing you together with everybody else that feels the same way. So this does that, and I'm so excited to see the first person who joins.
One of the things you'll love about being a member of the creative coaching community is that I'm offering a 50% lifetime commissions. So if you love being a member of the creator coaching community and it's valuable for you I will actually give you more out of selling it than I get out of hosting it. I know that as a live streamer, it's really difficult for you to find ways to make money sometimes, and that's why I'm offering a massive commission rate of 50%.
You sell a couple of memberships, as I know you know other creators, you sell a couple other memberships, the cost of yours is covered, and then any other membership apps, you are making a good profit. And I've learned as a creator you want to spend your money on things that give you massive value, like sending stars out is almost a total waste.
Buying programs that are very expensive for coaching is almost a total waste. Putting money into online courses that try and teach you on a stream is almost a total waste. What really matters is if you can get some personalized coaching and network and help all in one spot, and then you can actually sell access to that very easily as well.
So if you are one of the first to join that creator coaching community, you will be one of the first to be able to sell it then. And since nobody else will be a member, you will really have the world as your oyster Hannah says, I'm sorry to hear you lost your gaming partnership and your monetization from Facebook.
I'm actually really glad I lost that because for the first time I actually took a look at what's happening. And here's what's happening when you go subscribe on Facebook or send me stars on Facebook, you let's say you send $100 and you buy $100 in Starz on your mobile phone. The way that's how most of you do it.
Or you support on your mobile phone, let's say collectively. 20 of you hit the supported button on your mobile phone. Here's what happens. Apple and or Google through the App Store take like 30% off the top of that. So if you buy $100 straight through the stars on in the app on the mobile device which is the main way you all do it then you get like 6500 stars to send or something and you've just sent $35 to Apple or Google massive companies who don't need your money at all.
Then you send me the 6000 stars that I you're very excited to send. I dance and get happy on the stream. Then in a month or two, Facebook actually sends me that payment at the end of the year. Facebook then sends me a 1099 form which reports the income to the IRS. The IRS then gives me a nice $30 or so tax bill on that $100.
So you pay $100 whether it's supporting or stars on Facebook the equivalent of it 100 is an easy percentage so you put 100 in. And I actually get about 35 after taxes. Now that seems like a pretty stupid system to me. What about you? Do you think that's a good system? Do you like that? Do you think that's a good way?
You send me $100 and I get to keep about 35 of it. That sound good to you? I'm. I'm done with that man. I'm done with that. I'm not so encouraging. I'm actually glad I'm demonetized. I'm not. I have no intention of ever monetizing on another platform. Or alternatively, if we're going for ad revenue. If you go for ad revenue, then I'm sitting there.
You're getting distracted with these ads on the stream and you're watching ads often for alcohol and other products. I would not support or use myself. You're being distracted with these ads, Facebooks or whatever platforms are getting a big percentage of money from these ads. They give me a minority of what's left over. And then again, I pay tax on that.
So the adverts are on loads 100 bucks, Facebook gets maybe 40 or 50 of it. I get like 50 of it. And then the IRS takes 25 of it. So the advertiser unloads 100 bucks and I get $25 worth. Meanwhile, you watch all these ads. I'm not doing that anymore either. So I'm really happy about what's happened with Facebook gaming.
I'm thankful that Facebook gaming demonetized me because I've seen through this whole system, this whole system is very counterproductive. I no longer accept tips, stars, subscribers, supporters, bits, anything in any form. I don't accept any of that. The only thing if you want to pay me, I have the creator coaching community you can join because I've noticed the majority of my tips.
The majority of the people tipping me are tipping in relation to the majority of you. Tipping me are creators, and as a creator, what you're wanting is various things for me. When you're tipping, it's very rarely absent of self-interest. Like I know that because if I don't provide anything, I don't get the tips again. But here's what happens if you're a creator, you throw out 50 bucks, which you pay to the app, you pay to Facebook.
I actually end up getting maybe 15, 20, 25 of that. So you throw out 50 bucks for some gift supporters. You get all this attention on stream. Then I come along to give back. I share your stream, or I watch your stream and comment and then, yeah, but there's no explicit agreement, so you're just throwing these tips out, hoping that you get something which sucks that's why I've created the creative coaching community.
I want you to know exactly what you have access to if you're going to give me money and if you're not in the creator coaching community, I want you to understand that you if you're not hanging out outside of my live stream, that's it. Like my live stream I'm happy to answer and talk to as many of you as I can on the live stream.
And outside of that, that's it. If you're not in the creative coaching community, I'm not going to watch your stream, not going to share and not going to come by and look at what you're doing. I'm focusing completely on members of the creator coaching community as those are my people. Those are my people that I will pay attention to.
I'll come watch your stream. I'll share your stream when I can. I will talk with you on Discord. I'll just hang out for hours a day on Discord to have private conversations. I'll attract other people to come hang out on discord that you can connect with that will add value for you if you're in the coaching community. I'll do whatever I can to support you.
If you're not in a coaching community, I'll hang out and I'll be here on a live stream. Other than that, I got nothing else for you. So it's an it's a nice it's a way to bring all of us together in a uniform format. And I find it's also better. And, you know, a lot of the is better to offer.
One thing that's really valuable and then to try and sell all this different crap like instead of trying to sell post streams, sell me instead of trying to sell a bunch of crap, why don't I just have one specific thing that that's all I sell? And then so I'm very much excited for this creative coaching community. I'm going to make all the landing pages and everything better.
But I figure if it's something that's really worthwhile, even with the kind of crappy page I threw up in a few minutes, it'll still, you know, somebody will join. And then whoever joins first of being a really good position to maximize the benefits because the more people that join, the less individual attention I'll be able to provide. So right now, there's literally nobody in it because I just introduced it.
So the first few people that join stand to gain a lot from me watching your stream, me sharing your stream you know, you're and then the more people that are in it, the more you will gain from the community. My vision with the creator coaching community is that you've got people who will just be hanging around in the community.
Like, if you want to connect with me, I'll encourage you to just hang around in a discord server and a voice chat room. I'll pop in and especially early on, there may only be me that pops in there and then you'll have the chance to connect with me directly, individually for one on one coaching whereas the more people that join, then it'll be cool because I'll be in there sometimes, but other times you'll run into somebody else who's hanging out in there, like you run into another creator and the two of you can connect and talk.
What I just think is and that's where the real learning and growth comes from, when you can connect with me and you can connect with other creators because just connecting with me by itself is is good, but where you're going to get great is connecting with other people. Also, like Mr. Beast was talking about when he grew when he got connected and was hanging out on discord for hours with other people who are focused on building their YouTube channels, then things went really well for him.
My creator coaching community is all about supporting each other and learning and growing. One of the most difficult things with these existing communities. I've been a part of a bunch of different communities online and consistently. The weak point is that they're all tied to one platform and or they're not really there to help you learn and grow that much.
And I'm making this create a coaching community is a place of positive support where you can really get help a community that you can depend on for the long term. I've been a part of some great communities that were supportive, like in a Facebook partner community but what really sucks about that is if you're not a Facebook partner, you don't get access at all.
And if you are if you stop being a Facebook partner, you lose access. And same like on Udemy, there were some great support resources, but as soon as you don't use Udemy anymore, like what have what you really need is a community that's there to support you over the long term.
Because all these short term supports are not very helpful. So I've set up this create a coaching community. It's a long term positive support environment. What doesn't work is having all these, you know, very localized platform specific support environments that are then low. They're often loaded with negativity as well, like a bunch of people just complaining and whining about the algorithm and my coaching community, given that I've founded it and it's my vibe, we're not going to be whining about algorithms in my coaching community.
I mean, if you want to, you can you are free to do what you want to but the vibe of the community is, look, let's work together to help each other. We're going to all work together to help each other. We're going to support each other. Yes. If something's frustrated we're going to mention it, but we're going to mention it with the intent that we can actually learn something and grow instead of just complain and whine and feel like we're not good enough.
Hey, Zalman Achilles told me Boxer League games. Nice. That's amazing. Thank you for being here for this. It's time to go to yoga. So we'll wrap this up if you want to join the creative coaching community. There's a link to sign up at Jerry Banfield dot com right on the home page. My podcast is also now on the home page for you to easily listen to as well.
If you love the live streams of podcast, a much faster format, about half of the live stream is cut down into the podcast. You can get the most specific relevant parts of the live stream in a very easy to consume format. Like I have friends and family for example, that, you know, they might love list my inspiration and stuff, but I can't refer them to listen to a two hour live stream, but I can send them over to an hour long podcast that's focused on a specific subject and doesn't have a bunch of shout outs and game play audio and stuff on it.
So if you're on the podcast, I appreciate you listening to podcasts available everywhere you listen to podcasts of players directly on my website now, and I'm very excited to see who's going to be the very first to join the creator coaching community. I think it'll be a fantastic time for you and a huge value, especially for the very first people to join.
Thanks for being here today.
