"Les Cycles De Thanatos" (released in 1979) is the name of the second studio album by the French band, Vortex. The group was founded in Lyon in the mid-1970s and was composed of: Jean-Pierre Vivante on guitar, drummer Francois Gerald and flutist Jean-Francois Trouillet. The band's musical style is very much in line with the sounds of the canterbury scene cultivating a pristine and elegant jazz rock comparable to bands like Soft Machine and Gong (Expresso I and II) ... =)
