but now I feel like I'm starting to understand.

I'm going to practice a lot.
I want to be a painter who can draw the inner beauty of natural objects.
I hope I can express the kindness and honest feelings.

これは17歳の時の作品。

私は17歳の時から本格的に絵の学校に通いだした。
しかし、私はいつも先生に叱られてばかりだった。

毎日叱られる中で描いた作品だけど、
この時だけは
「あなたがどういう絵を描く人なのか、この絵でわかった」
と先生から言われた。

私はこの時、先生が言っている意味が全く分からなかったけれど
だんだんわかるようになってきた気がする。

これからたくさんの練習をして
私は自然物の内面の美を描けるような画家になりたいと思う。
優しく、素直な気持ちが表現できればいいと思う。

それは一番幸せだと感じる瞬間
何も考えず、ただ癒される時間
