Do you know how a supplier’s declaration of conformity can help your business?

Organisations do not have to be accredited to benefit from Quality standards such as ISO 9001. A supplier’s declaration of conformity is a first-party and self-declaration of conformity without much of the overhead required by formal accreditations.

Some of the conditions are: Services are in a form that will not be confused with any certification (third party conformity assessment) mark, and are traceable. There are procedures in place to re-evaluate the validity of the declaration of conformity when/if there are changes: 1- that affect the object’s design or specification (for example the changes to the actual product, management system etc); 2- to the specified requirements (including standards) that relate to the object of this declaration; 3- in ownership or management; 4- there is any relevant information which indicates the object no longer fulfills the specified requirements.
