Chase started With Dhawan and shaw in the crease. Dhawan tried to be aggressive early on his innings has hit Chawla for 4 followed by 6. Next ball he tried to clear mid off but this time he finds russel on his way. Shaw and Iyer build a partnership of 89 runs off just 56 delivers this partnership was looking dangerous as they were scoring very quickly again russel came in to action and removed iyer. Pant and shaw had a partnership of 54 runs. Pant got out trying to slog sweep off kuldeep and shaw got out off 99 runs - top innings come to an end you could say he has missed an hundred but the fact is he has played match winning innings. What a match this has turned out to be. It was delhi's match to lose after that syntillating knock from shaw but he couldn't finish the game for dc as they needed 6 runs off last over. In modern day cricket one could have thought that 6 runs in an over its easy but kuldeep defended it and taken 2 wkts and just given 5 runs to have first super over of vivo ipl 2019.
