Yes this is very much helpful for iphone users and this is very well described by you @swissclive.

What I could understand here is that when someone sends a message with invisible ink, then I can see the outline of the text, but the content will be covered with black and white dots and when I swipe on the message, I can see the text.

This is really really helpful, because we need to know all these hacks of iphone and at times it becomes a necessary phenomena also depending upon the situation.
