A recent test revealed that the wireless charge of the iPhone 8 and X phones destroyed the battery faster than wired.
Charging your phone battery wirelessly is faster than "wired" charging, but this type of charging has a negative impact on battery life because the charge does not last long when the wireless method is charged.
According to the ZDNet website, the reason for this is that when the iPhone is wired, the pressure on the battery is limited, because the phone is powered by the power source, while it depends on the battery power when charging wirelessly.
Thus switching the charging method from wired to wireless, battery fatigue and makes its charging cycles faster, resulting in a shorter battery life.
